Permit Holder Information
What is SiteAssist?
SiteAssist is an electronic PTW (Permit-To-Work) system. MWH Treatment uses SiteAssist to manage permits for high-risk activities on site, as it helps ensure work is properly planned, authorised, and carried out safely and in line with project and legal requirements.
Why You Need to Use It
If you are working on an MWH Treatment project and acting as a Permit Holder, SiteAssist is used to:
• Issue and manage permits for high-risk activities
• Confirm work is authorised before it starts
• Record permit controls, approvals and permit status
Only approved and trained users are allowed to hold permits within SiteAssist.
Training Requirement
Before you can use SiteAssist, you must complete mandatory Permit Holder training. Access to the system will not be provided until training has been completed and verified.
Please watch the SiteAssist Permit Holder training video before requesting access.
Before You Start – Quick Checklist
Before you begin work as a Permit Holder, make sure that:
• You have completed the SiteAssist Permit Holder training
• Your project SiteAssist Coordinator has requested your access
• You have received the email notification from SiteAssist
• You understand your responsibilities as a Permit Holder
• You know how to apply, receive and close permits correctly
If any of the above are missing, do not start work under a permit.
Getting Access to SiteAssist
You cannot create your own SiteAssist account. Access requests must be raised by the SiteAssist Coordinator for your project once your training has been completed and verified.
If you are unsure who your SiteAssist Coordinator is, speak to your MWH Treatment project contact before starting work.
